Spanish-reading those stories and answering questions.

When we read stories in Spanish, which were forced to listen to, I get bored. really easily. But, always, in the back of my mind, I try to convince myself that they are worth something, anything. I think these stories help everybody in the class practice reading along. The teachers in college aren't going to force us to listen. If we do, we do. If we don't, then too bad. This will help me with self responsibility. I learned I have to be able to do things by myself without constant reminders. The questions that I answer are also taken as a grade, so it gets me an easy grade, or at least it should. I think the biggest lesson this taught me was that school is all on me. The teachers aren't responsible for me, and neither are my parents.

Computers-Editoral on Piracy

The editoral we did on piracy taught me a lot. I have to confess, I really wasn't into the whole scene of technology. This helps me learn about technology and what i should and shouldn't be doing. It prevents me from getting into serious trouble. This builds my information level about things. It allows me to let other people know about it, too. It makes me feel like a good person, letting people know what they should or shouldn't do.

P.E.-Basketball Shooting Game

This game we played in P.E. helped me in more ways than one. I was practicng my shooting skills, which was supposed to show in games. I also learned more about teammwork. It helped to be able to be a part of a team because it showed that I was able to handle my attitude and I didn't get out of hand(even if I was boiling inside.).
this helped because it made me a better person than I was.

Art-Fantasy World Drawing

We were assigned to draw a fantasy world of our choice, something that intrested us. I really liked this assignment because I got to express my feelings without speaking. It was a way to express myself without embarasiing myself or having to make people listen to me. This assignment helped me be more open and less shy than I am right now, which I think is a good expiernce to have.

Science-Science Fair

The science fair helped me excierse the scientific method, which I've noticed is pretty important. It is an important daily thing that we use whenever we expierment. This assignment helped me learn about responsiblity and I've noticed the consequences if I choose not to be responsible when I should be. This should make me an even better student than I am now.
Purpose-To test how starburst jelly beans are affected after being in a liquid for three hours

Math-3D Objects

In math class, we were given nets and were asked to make 3D objects. This helped me excierse my creativiness(school isn't all boring work, or shouldn't be.) I also learned about shapes, and the charectiristics of them. I learned about vertices, edges, an faces. I think this was an important assignment because my theory is shapes are part of the foundation of math. If I want to be good at math, I need to learn shapes and numbers

English- Road to College

This assignment, which was a drawing/map we had to do helped me learn more about college. Mr. Winchester was teaching a unit on college so we were well-informed about college and what hard work it was going to be. This drawing helped me relaize that college isn't going to be a piece of cake. I think this assignment proved to me that i really need to work hard if I want to be a succesful person in the future.

Social Studies-Issues Report

The Issues Report really helped me understand why issue groups believe in the things and the things they do to express thier feelings. This project motivated me to express my feelings even more about the things I felt were mportant to me. A lot of the assignments I do motivate me, so therefore I'm a better person with a lot more character thaan before.
